Easy Peach Bread Recipe
Peachy Keen Bread Bliss
Okay, so who else thinks peaches just scream summer? Like, I wanna dive into a pool of them—so juicy and sweet! 🍑

Alright, let’s dive into this peach bread thing. Seriously, it’s like a warm hug in loaf form. Like, you’re gonna want to make this every week. It’s that good.
Okay, Let’s Talk Ingredients
So, picture this: you’re in the grocery store, right? You’re on a mission to grab some fresh peaches, but then you see that sugar on sale, and you’re like, “Yesss, why not?!”
Here’s a rundown:
– 1 cup granulated sugar (sweet dreams, baby)
– 3/4 cup milk (I usually go for whole, but whatever you like)
– 3/4 cup canola oil (or vegetable, it’s all good)
– 2 large eggs (I always double-check ’cause you never know)
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (the magic ingredient!)
– 2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (let’s get that bread-y goodness)
– 2 teaspoons baking powder (for the rise, duh)
– 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon (just a hint of cozy)
– dash salt (don’t skip it!)
– 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced (this is the star of the show!)
– 2 tablespoons melted butter (for the glaze, yum)
– 1/3 cup finely diced peaches (for the glaze too, more peachy goodness)
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (yes, again 😍)
– 1-2 tablespoons heavy cream or milk (to get that glaze just right)
– 2 cups powdered sugar (sweetness overload!)
So Here’s Why I Make This Constantly
Okay, let me spill the tea. I made this for the first time when my neighbor gifted me a bag of peaches from their tree. They were ripe, and I was like, “What do I even do with all these?” So, I googled (obviously) and found this recipe. The first bite was like a sweet, soft, peachy cloud. I swear I could hear angels. And now? It’s a summer staple in my kitchen! I mean, who doesn’t love the smell of baking bread wafting through the house? It’s a total mood, right?

The One Trick That Changes Everything
Okay, listen up! When you’re folding those peaches into the batter—be gentle! Like, you don’t wanna turn it into mush. Just fold, don’t stir. It keeps those lovely chunks intact, and trust me, you want those bites of peachy goodness, not just peach-flavored bread. 🙌
Don’t Mess This Up (My Top Tips)
1. Check your peaches! If they’re mushy or have weird spots, toss ‘em. You want the good stuff.
2. Don’t over-mix! Seriously, it’s tempting to whip that batter into submission, but you want it to be nice and fluffy.
3. Glaze it up! The glaze is not optional. I repeat, NOT optional. It takes your peach bread from “meh” to “OMG, I need more.”
4. Cool before you slice! Let it chill for a bit. The flavors get even better once it cools down, promise!
How to Keep Them From Disappearing (Or, How to Store Them)
So, if you miraculously have leftovers (which is a major “how?!”), just pop them in an airtight container and stash them in the fridge. They’ll last a few days, but let’s be real—good luck keeping them around that long!

- Next add your dry ingredients: your salt, baking powder, flour and stir til just combined.
- Last add your diced peaches and fold them into the batter.
- Grease 2 8 by 4 bread pans. You can use the larger ones too but the bread wont be as tall.
- Pour half the batter into one pan and the other half into the other. You can add some thinly sliced peaches to the top of the batter to make a pretty design or presentation. Totally optional.
- Bake on the center rack in the oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool for about 20 minutes on a wire rack before removing them from the loaf pans (if you want to take them out) You can also serve it in the pan.
- Once the bread has cooled completely its time to top it with the glaze.
- Whisk together the melted butter, milk, powdered sugar, vanilla and peaches in a small bowl. Drizzle the glaze over the entire top of the bread and let it set up. Slice and enjoy!
